IEC Congress Bursary Program

The IEC has introduced the IEC Congress Bursary Program in order to foster global research and education on atopic dermatitis through reimbursement of travel expenses (awards up to $3,000) for dermatologists and allergists with a strong focus on AD from lower-income countries to attend AAD, EADV, and WCD, specifically favoring those who are speakers or who have a scientific poster on AD.

Eligibility requirements are:

  1. Dermatologists and/or allergists who have completed residency training.
  2. Planning to attend either AAD, EADV, or WCD.
  3. Agree to attend the entire IEC symposium presented at AAD, EADV or WCD.
  4. Live and practice in certain countries according to the criteria in the application.
  5. Attest that they are not receiving any other financial support from their institution or other organizations to attend the meeting.
  6. Priority will be given to applicants who present a poster on AD at the congress

Awards:

Up to $3,000 for reimbursement of travel expenses only.
