Practical Applications of Multiomics in Atopic Dermatitis

At SID 2025 | May 7, 2025 | Time: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Pacific Time

Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel, 1 Park Boulevard, San Diego, California 92101, USA | Room: Sapphire AB

Join us as this session aims to bridge the gap between advanced research techniques and clinical practice. Attendees will explore how multiomics—encompassing genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics—can be applied to uncover the underlying mechanisms of atopic dermatitis (AD). The session will emphasize practical insights, such as identifying actionable biomarkers, optimizing patient stratification for personalized therapies, and predicting treatment responses. Through interactive discussions, case studies, and expert presentations, participants will gain knowledge about integrating multiomic data into research and clinical workflows driving innovation in the management and understanding of AD.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

• By the end of the session, participants will be able to identify at least three specific biomarkers derived from multiomic analyses that are relevant to the pathophysiology and personalized treatment of atopic dermatitis.
• Participants will evaluate at least two real-world examples of multiomic approaches in clinical research or practice.
• By the end of the session, participants will be able to describe the principles of multiomics (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics) and their relevance to understanding atopic dermatitis.
